This weekend's ride (officially my birthday ride) is off!

The Glentress weekend will become my official birthday ride now - bit more deserving then a jaunt around Macclesfield Forest!

Well my stag do the weekend before last meant we didn't ride last wednesday - everyone was still shattered and in no fit state to ride a bike! Scott injured his ankle pretty badly too so that has been on the mend - just about ok to ride on as we speak.

Scott's bike has also undergone a drivetrain transformation with a bling bling super stiff crankset, new chain and cassette - so no excuses this week and coming weekend.

Saturday is officially my birthday ride and so we're either riding Coed-y-brenin, Gwydwr, Moel Famau, Delamere or Macclesfield Forest depending on timing (I'm at the wedding venue on Saturday morning making some last minute arrangements).

The Glentress trip is sounding like its going to be absolutely awesome! 4 of us now as Mike (the chap who came along to the Lakes last september) is also coming up - and promised he's a bit fitter! We don't care anyway Mike as it's all about the down!

It works! It works!! Woohoo!

Ok, first try at posting on here didn't work too well. Think I've found the right links now though...

Well we're now on a new blog-service provider - Fearingout is now brought to you in association with Blogger.com. Our old site was hosted with Crimsonblog and after the ability to add new users dissappeared a few months ago we started looking elsewhere. Unfortunately we've not managed to produce a custom solution and this week Crimsonblog stopped allowing us to add new posts I had to look seriously elsewhere.

So we're on Blogger. There are a few technical differences so bear with us for a few weeks whilst I fudge them!

This week we'll be working on Phase 2 of the trail - since we got so much done last week. Filming the week after. Thats all for now.
