Well it lives, conversion of new boy Pete's Saracen Raw into a Trek 4300 is finished.
With my old frame, Scott's old forks and wheels, crankset, gears, bars etc from Pete's Saracen its a bit of an eclectic mix but the main thing is its about half the weight of the Saracen, less bouncy and more reliable off-road.
Thanks to the technicians at work we managed to bodge the front V-brakes on as Scott's old forks didn't come with V-brake bosses due to his old GT being disc equipped.
Roll on (literally) Sunday and Llandegla revisited... lets hope its raised its game and our 3 newbies enjoy themselves.
PS Scott might be on his Cove at this rate :)
