Rooty tooty

Simply f**kin divine!

Tonight was awesome. Fantastic weather, good company, great trails.
Dry and dusty. Fast. Rough, rooty... you name it. It has me grinning from ear to ear.

After a first blast down Charity Lane (I was giving it some serious hammer - I'm feeling really confident and fast on it now, glad I didn't up the stakes last month with my Stinky urge/itch!) Jon sustained a number of punctures! 6 snake bites in the front and a pair in the rear. Good work. Its hard to describe Charity Lane to those that have never ridden it... why it holds such a draw to the Macclesfield mountainbiker. One thing I can say is it never rides the same twice, so that when we pushed back up for a second blast I took a similar but different line... faster? not much in it. Fun? hell yeah!
In complete contrast the singletrack was rooty but smooth - and unpredictably super fast! So so quick throwing your weight around and carrying speed - just wish it could last longer!

We're out at the weekend with the chaps from Monkeyspoon so keep an eye out on Sunday for photos and a report!
